Intelligencia for Office 2007 allows you to create sophisticated reports in Microsoft Word and Excel using data from your business intelligence warehouse. With the emphasis on report writing Intelligencia can be used to create:

Microsoft Word as a BI reporting application?

Intelligencia for Office is the first solution that properly recognises the growing need to incorporate business data within Microsoft Word documents as well as Excel spreadsheets. Simple, direct access to data is provided without the need to use complex linking or embedding. The intuitive query builder extracts data without restricting users’ ability to flexibly format and annotate. This makes Word an incredible tool for the creation of rich content documents such as board reports and compliance filing documents.

With Intelligencia for Word you can also create dynamic parameterised reports in which users can select the subset of data they wish to view. These reports can be distributed via email or shared through Microsoft Office SharePoint Server without the need for complex web development.

Adding Value to Excel

With Office 2007 Microsoft have significantly increased the power of Excel when used for data analysis. Our Excel add-in concentrates on allowing you to create printable reports with an emphasis on creating good looking, easily maintainable content with the minimum effort. We also extend the range of Olap data sources that can be used within Excel from SQL Server Analysis to include SAP Business Warehouse and Cognos TM1.

People who work all day with Excel appreciate features such as the default footing of totals in financial data and the rapid formatting via our layout and style galleries.
