Intelligencia Desktop Client is a stand-alone solution for report building
and data entry.
Designed for planning, budgeting and reporting applications IDC provides comprehensive
support for write-enabled cubes in SQL Server Analysis Services. The user interface
allows copy/paste of data from other applications, and provdes simple end-user tools
for allocation and spreading.

Users can create data entry forms which define specific subsetd of data to be entered
as part of a planning process. Within the form member protection can be defined
along with constraints on navigation of data. Forms can be shared by email or using
existing infrastructure solutions such as SharePoint server.
IDC is offered in 2 versions: Standard edition provides query building and reporting
functionality fo information workers and developers. Enterprise edition delivers
additional data entry and modeling functionality allowing IDC to become part of
your planning and budgeting application.
At present IDC Enterprise is offered as a Community Technology Preview (CTP) download for evaluation
and feedback prior to formal launch. We are currently
looking for partners with experience in implementation of PerformancePoint server
or other SSAS based planning solutions.
